A permanent house swap, put simply, is where 2 (or more) parties agree to buy each others property.

The actual process is no different to when you sell your house in the traditional way.  Its just that the parties involved "find each other" and agree to exchange their properties.

With the advent of recession in 2008, many homeowners are faced with the difficult prospect of finding a buyer.  Even more difficult, is the potential issue of getting a mortage - now bank lending has tightened.

So the idea of house swapping is to help bring parties together, so that they can fulfill their plans.

You might need to move to another location (or country) for a host of reasons. A new job, wanting to start a new life, downsizing to a smaller (and more affordable) property. If you haven't had any luck selling your property, then why not consider swapping it?

By posting your property on HouseSwapFinder.com, you make it available on the Internet for anyone to see, and if they are interested in your property, they can contact you.
